To continue this series, this week we are turning our attention to resources for accounting professionals who are on the ground in organizations' accounts payable/accounts receivable departments.
- Accounting Today - AccountingToday.com is a great resource for professionals looking for the most current, breaking industry news. Focusing on providing online business news for the tax and accounting community, this publication also offers in-depth features and editorial analysis.
- PayStream Advisors - Another excellent resource for professionals in the procure-to-pay industry, Paystream is a research and consulting firm that minimizes risks and maximizes value associated with technology investments.
- SearchContentManagement.com - This publication is part of the TechTarget suite of publications, and provides professionals with a wide range of content management and collaboration resources to help organizations more effectively manage and leverage data as a corporate asset.
- The Accounts Payable Network - This website is devoted to providing accounts payable professionals access to online data, facts, information, downloadable tools and peer-to-peer networking. Metafile works closely with TAPN on webinars and research projects and we look forward to our upcoming collaborations that will be shared here in the future.
- The Institute of Financial Operations (IFO) - As we shared in January, four influential accounting organizations (NAPP, IAPP, IARP and TAWPI) joined forces to create a premier resource for accounting professionals, recently renamed The Institute of Financial Operations (IFO). IFO provides professionals in all areas of the accounting industry with educational resources, ranging from webinars and conferences to whitepapers and articles.
