Metafile Information Systems' Regional Manager Receives Award for Industry Leadership

Supply & Demand Chain Executive names Doug Bertram a 2013 Supply Chain "Provider Pro to Know"

Rochester, MNFeb. 19, 2013— Doug Bertram, regional sales manager with Metafile Information Systems, Inc. (www.metaviewer.com), has been named a recipient of the “2013 Provider Pros to Know” award by Supply & Demand Chain Executive. Metafile is an independent paperless accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR) and human resources (HR) document management and workflow solution provider.

Honoring the supply chain’s best and brightest, Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s 2013 “Pros to Know” includes professionals proactively working to improve their business’s functions in a number of categories—including manufacturing and production output; procurement; logistics; risk mitigation strategies; sourcing; financial operations; packaging and distribution; transportation; and much more.

“I am honored to be named a ‘2013 Provider Pro to Know’. I am fortunate to have a highly dedicated team at Metafile that can exceed our customers’ expectations to bring control, visibility, and efficiencies to their business processes,”   said Bertram. “If you truly want to help a customer, you need to listen before you can offer a solution, and I believe it’s this philosophy that leads to our success.”

For 20 years, Doug Bertram has earned the trust and respect of his customers and colleagues with his ability to break down very complex and often intimidating technology into terms that his customers can easily understand. With his in-depth industry and technical knowledge, Doug also is able to look at a company’s existing solutions and work hands-on with IT and Financial leaders to integrate Metafile’s flagship solution, MetaViewer, into the environment.

“Customers will go into the implementation process with an initial set of goals that may not ultimately be exactly what their organization needs to achieve true efficiency and ROI,” according to Nick Sprau, Metafile’s vice president of marketing. “Serving as a true advisor, Doug has an ability to objectively offer guidance and strategic counsel to these customers so they ultimately see better results than they originally anticipated.”

The full list of 2013 “Pros to Know” awards winners is now available on www.sdcexec.com. The expanded awards coverage and winners list will appear in the March 2013 issue of Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine and online thereafter.
