2011 Continues to be a Banner Year

Aggressive corporate growth, a new team member and industry honors round out the exciting news from the first half of this year we'd like to share with you. 

First, our presence in the manufacturing, wholesale-distribution and retail industries has continued to grow, and increased customer acquisitions have contributed to a 35-percent growth in revenue and more than 100-percent net income growth year-over-year.

On the personnel front, veteran sales leader Bob Hawley recently joined Metafile as regional sales manager. He will be focused on expanding business and partner relationships in the Western region of North America. He comes to us with more than 20 years of senior sales and sales management experience at several organizations within the enterprise software sector.

As we mentioned a couple of months ago, our expertise was recognized when our MetaViewer solution and two of our executives were named finalists for this year's Stevie Awards. This industry honor recognizes the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and business professionals worldwide who strive to provide exceptional and innovative technology services to their customers. Metafile was a finalist in the following categories:

  • Product Development/Management Executive of the Year, Virginia Wimmer, Metafile's VP of product development, was recognized for her work in strategic product development and with all of our product lines, including ResultsPlus, MetaViewer and PrintStore.
  • Technical Professional of the Year, Dan Hunstad, a senior systems analyst, was honored for his commitment to customers, attention to detail, excellent customer service and breadth of knowledge of the issues facing accounts payable and receivable departments.
  • New Product or Service of the Year - Computer Software - New Version, for Metafile's MetaViewer solution, which offers customers unparalleled automation, visibility and workflow efficiency.
